Google User Data
ActorOS connects to your Google Account through Google's official APIs to provide calendar and email features. This section describes the Google user data we access, how we use it, how we share and protect it, and the controls available to you. It supplements the other sections of this Privacy Policy.
Google data we access. With your explicit consent at sign-in, ActorOS accesses (a) your Google Calendar events, in order to display your existing schedule and to create and update events for the actors and coaches; and (b) the ability to send email on your behalf through Gmail, used only when you choose to send a message. ActorOS does not read, modify, organize, or delete messages in your Gmail mailbox.
How we use Google data. We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the calendar-sync and email-sending features described above. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Limited Use. ActorOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the ActorOS experience; we do not transfer or sell this data for advertising or marketing; and we do not allow humans to read this data except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Sharing of Google data. We do not sell your Google user data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and only as necessary to provide the features described above.
Storage, security, and retention of Google data. Google user data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. We retain it only as long as necessary to provide these features or as required by law.
Your controls and deletion.
